Our Story
More Than Just a Race.
Held each year since 2023, at Coconut Cove RV Resort, the Mind Over Matter Triathlon brings together athletes of every ability level to compete, connect, and make a real difference.
Founded in honor of those who battled, or are battling, with Glioblastoma (GBM) brain cancer, every dollar raised goes directly to GBM research at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. You’ll never forget the calm lake swim, hilly Wisconsin country roads, and a slip-n-slide finish line. This is an endurance event with heart.

- Ages 6–9: 50yd swim · 0.8mi bike · 0.3mi run
- Ages 10–12: 100yd swim · 1.6mi bike · 0.6mi run
- Ages 13–15: 150yd swim · 2.4mi bike · 0.9mi run
Sprint Triathlon
Sunday · All Ages Welcome
- 375m calm lake swim
- 14.4 mile bike through hilly Grant County
- 5K rolling run
